All the watches represented on forthcoming pages were nominees in the Haute Horlogerie competition Grand-Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve. All the winner hit the jackpot but all the other participants did not lose, they just were taken captive of honoured and high qualified jury’s personal preferences. Only time will set the priorities.

It is the first time when W&D is devoted to children. Suddenly, I gained an insight into the subject. Why do we need all these ingenious Bovet, Harry Winston, Carrera y Carrera… for.  And I realized that for my children they would mean the same as paintings of Leonardo, sculptural arts of Donatello, jewelry from Cellini, timepieces from Breguet and Kullinan diamond for me. They will be the best teachers of virtuosity.
